The Saturday Morning Service, commencing at 9:30am, typically runs until approximately noon.
There are readings and prayers in both Hebrew and English.
The highlight of the service is reading from the Torah, from one of the books of the Old Testament, followed by the Haftarah, a corresponding chanted reading from one of the books of the Prophets in the Old Testament.
The Torah reading is segmented into sections, and certain family and friends are honored by being called up to the bimah to recite prayers before and after each segment.
